Gouache and Ink, 4x4 on Archival Paper
I constructed this painting using block shapes with the concept of moving from light to dark values and cool to warm temperatures from top to bottom. I wanted the blue-white panel in the lower left to be the resting place for the viewer and the focal area of the painting.
