Reference painting - not for sale

I did this watercolor to adjust the composition of earlier paintings of this pine tree. I was attempting to reduce the amount of information and focus on this tree alone.

I have not done watercolor in some months, and my technique, which was not that good to begin with, has deteriorated. Oh well.
